SECRET GIFT BOX

I've always wanted a secret bookshelf, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon. So I decided to make a secret book! I'm going to give someone a gift this week so i thought no better way to give it then to give it inside of a secret book!

You need:
-A old book
-Craft knife
-PVA glue
-Paint brush
-Pencil

1.Outline on the book where you want to cut, about 2cm out from the edge.

2. With a sharp craft knife cut down deep along the lines putting lots of pressure on the knife.

3. Once you have gone through a decent amount of pages remove the middle loose pieces, lift the pages up and start cutting again from a flat uncut page.

4.Continue cutting the book until you reach the last page!

5.Now that the book is empty, get some PVA glue on a brush and glue all the pages together, on the outside and the inside. The glue drys clear so layer heaps on! Remember to glue the inside and the outside of the book.

6. place a heavy object on top of the book to hold it together and wait for it to dry for a couple of hours. Once dry add some more PVA and wait to dry.

Now it is complete! Place a cute gift inside and it is the perfect present for anyone!

Things that can be done with this book are endless. You could make it into a jewelry box!
